Notes from IgniteRaleigh via KarlieJ (+ my thoughts)
I was going to write an overview of Ignite Raleigh 2 myself but miss Karlie Justus beat me to it with an awesome review! Though I was not there in person (nasty cold, its that time of year) I thoroughly enjoyed tuning in via ustream and watching Twitter conversation via Twitterfall (oh the beauty of technology).
Some of my personal favs:
Evan Carroll, What happens to your digital identity after you die? - someone should really do an audit on how much the digital identity of people like Chris Brogan and Guy Kawasaki are worth. Mine, probably close to null, but hey its worth thinking about who I want having access to my online life post mortem.
Janet Kennedy, 5 Bucks is Change - Loved this. I am a big philanthropy nerd and definitely agree that even though one person alone can't change the world, little efforts here and there, by a lot of people, can really add up. Check out her site: http://www.5bucksischange.com/
Dan Wilson, Why your health is the most important thing you’ll ignore all day - Exercise is not only something I do to stay fit, and so I can eat mass amounts of food, I seriously think it is good for my sanity. There is nothing quite like finishing a good sweat session with a clear mind and knowing that you accomplished something that day. Definitely something I hope never to ignore and better yet put it front and center on my to-do list each day. I hope others will do the same, for the sanity and health of us all.
I will be sure to add links to thee video/slides once I find them!
